La Fauci is a family-owned business located in Messina, Sicily. With the help of the younger generations, the La Fauci brothers have been producing handmade tiles for over forty years. They use only Sicilian clay, molded, sun-dried and hand-painted in the warm colors of the local heritage. Their production is very much shaped by tradition: heavy, textured tiles, exquisitely hand-painted, exuding Italian charm.

Located in the North-East of Sicily, a stone's throw from the continent, Messina has been a center of pottery making for millennia. In the past few centuries, most artisans have moved to neighboring towns and villages, such as Taormina and Santo Stefano di Camastra, which certainly attract more tourists than Messina. However, the beauty and quality of the ceramics we found in Messina are extraordinary, just like the incredible talents of their makers.
