Product descriptions and images
Your piece from thatsArte.com may differ slightly from the images you see on our website.
thatsArte.com has made every effort to reproduce colors as accurately as possible; however, actual colors may vary from what appears on your computer screen for the following reasons:
- Different screens reproduce colors in slightly different ways
- Each piece is made by hand. Various factors, such as weather conditions during the drying process or the artisan's creativity, affect the final result. Slight variations are a desirable quality of handmade items.
Some decorative products feature an “antique patina”, characterized by a distressed-looking glaze, often with evident smudges and splits. This is a valuable quality of some regional pieces and a contribute to their premium value. It should not be considered a manufacturing defect!
Handmade items may exhibit slight variations in size and form due to their unique crafting processes, which can include being thrown on a wheel or slip cast. Plates are an exception, as they are typically pressed to ensure consistent shapes and sizes.
The amount of decoration on a piece is proportional to its size; larger items tend to have richer decorations. Most of the photos on thatsArte.com feature medium-sized pieces.
On occasion, you may notice minor imperfections, such as slight indentations, design or glaze variations, tiny smudges, small dimples, paint spots, or loose-fitting lids. These variances are not considered manufacturing defects; rather, they are characteristics of original, handcrafted artwork.
If a product purchased from thatsArte.com does not meet your expectations, you can return it in unused condition. For more details, please review our Return Policy.

Product availability and delivery
At thatsArte.com, all our products are handmade, primarily produced by small factories and workshops that involve a time-intensive manufacturing process. As a result, many items may not be available in stock. You can find specific information about product availability on their respective product pages.
Once we receive your order, we'll send you an email with the current lead time and a shipping estimate.
When your order is ready to ship, we will send you an email with your tracking information, allowing you to follow your order's progress all the way to the shipping address you provided.
We primarily use UPS or FedEx for international airborne express shipping. Packages will arrive at residential addresses from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and at business addresses during their normal hours on the same days. The courier will make three delivery attempts, leaving a notice if the package cannot be delivered. After the third attempt, you can contact the courier following the instructions in the notice to pick up your package.
Always check your package upon delivery. DO NOT ACCEPT it if there is evident damage. Inspect the contents and make a written note on the Delivery Receipt if you notice any damage or irregularity. If you are unable to inspect all deliveries at the time of arrival, be sure to sign the delivery receipt as “subject to inspection for concealed damage.”
Insurance
thatsArte.com aims to provide a positive experience for all our customers. However, delivery issues can arise, and we depend on your promptness and accountability, as well as the reliable services of the carrier and the insurance company, to address them.
It is essential to follow a set of standard obligations. Failure to comply with these policy obligations or procedures may impact the outcome of your claims:
- Double-check your address before submitting your order.
- Inspect all deliveries carefully and note any discrepancies or irregularities on the Delivery Receipt.
- If you suspect that an item or parcel is missing, promptly
- Fully cooperate with the insurance company, and keep all damaged goods. You may also be required to retain all original packing materials for inspection by the insurance agency.
