Descriptions & details
During the Italian Renaissance, portraits of Belle Donne - beautiful ladies - or handsome young men celebrated the ideals of beauty and virtue and were often given as gifts.
Fascinated by this ancient tradition, Francesca Niccacci interprets it in her own special way. Her display plates feature the exquisite female beauties from the works of the most famous Italian painters.
