Forme Attuali is a tiny pottery studio in Urbino. The owner, Laura Scopa, is a young artist who captured our attention with her collection of Animaioliche, maiolica animals, at an art exhibition in Faenza.
Her pieces humorously and quite surprisingly turn traditional ceramic techniques and old fashioned toys into cool & modern decoration accents.
Apparently naïve, Laura’s pottery is the result of a hard to achieve balance between technical sophistication and poetic imagery. Plus, it’s funny and that’s why we love it.
Product availability: if not in stock, Forme Attuali’s ceramics are available in 4/5 weeks.
Product information: Forme Attuali’s pieces are entirely hand made. Minor variations from the pictures we feature enhance their uniqueness and the value of their handcraftsmanship.

Know more about Forme Attuali
Laura Scopa graduated from the Art Institute of Urbino, the city where Raphael was born and where Renaissance culture and love for arts never really subsided.
A professional in engraving and illustration of books, she fell in love with clay in 2003. After learning the basics in pottery making, she experimented with various techniques. Her ceramic collections are always unusual, reflecting her taste for mixing and matching styles, forms and a good deal of good ideas.
