I spent a few days in Palermo then drove to the South to visit the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento.<br \/>\nIt was my first time in Palermo\u00a0and I had a blast. Palermo is so beautiful, so lively\u00a0and so different from any other city I know: every corner hides a surprise. I will not mention how good the food and the weather were \u2026 don\u2019t want to ruin your day!<br \/>\nAs usually I was elated by the genuine beauty of <a title=\"Silian tiles, panel, table tops, backsplashes\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thatsarte.com\/italian-tiles\/italian-panels\/handmade-italian-tile-panels-by-ghenos-sicily.html\">Sicilian pottery, especially tiles and panels<\/a>. I discovered them in the most unusual places: in the magnificent Cathedral in Palermo, in the narrow streets of Monreale, in the Museum of Anthropology in Agrigento, as <a title=\"Sicilian stair risers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thatsarte.com\/italian-tiles\/stair-risers.html\">stair risers<\/a> on a house in Porto Empedocle.<br \/>\nThe last day I stumbled upon a real treasure.
