The uniqueness and beauty of this wall plate by D&G lie in its being totally free hand painted. No spolvero is used to design the sun ripe grapes and the fine volumes of the juicy cherries. Although not typically Deruta, this majolica pattern takes from its tradition the dark colors and the exquisite taste.  
D&G are two young artists, with a great creative talent and an excellent experience on traditional Italian ceramics. Some of D&G pottery may seem very traditional, but at a closer look it will always reveal a unique touch, be it an unusual color or a different way to interpret a classic pattern.
