Originally thought as a small planter, this beautiful lion can also be used to keep your cards tidy. It’s designed and hand made by Giacomo Alessi, one of the most admired ceramic artists in Italy.
Giacomo’s pottery is full of poetry. Myths, wars, legends, human virtues and vices take the shape of ceramic Art and the colors and the vitality of the Sicilian Baroque.
He says about his works: “I translate tradition into something new. I searched, gathered and re-invented in my own way the Baroque heritage. It make my fantasy fly were until everything becomes movement, human and animal spirit”.
His exhibitions are always very successful and his art pieces are very well appraised.
