Know more about Ceramiche Ammannati
Ceramiche Ammannati is located in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, five minutes drive from Montelupo Fiorentino.
Over a huge T-bone steak and a glass of delicious red wine, one of the three Ammannati brothers, Gabriele, spoke about his family passion for pottery making and explained that they are working hard to revive and reinterpret the Tuscan traditions and the work of the ceramists who made Montelupo famous in the world over the last 1000 years, particularly during the Renaissance period.
To achieve this ambitious goal they adopted a very original production format. In addition to his talented brother and sister, Gabriele selected the best painters of the Montelupo area. Each of them interprets one or more traditional pattern, adding new life to it with his or her own creativity.
The result is extraordinary. The best themes and patterns of the glorious tradition of Montelupo Fiorentino are lined up on the show room shelves, in an lively mix of decoration and dinnerware shapes.
The Ammannati’s collections also include more modern designs. Gabriele is always on the look for good creative ideas. Last time we visited him, we saw in his office the cutest collection of pitchers with country house doors and windows and lovely wall plates with Tuscan landscapes. We will soon come back to you with some news by Ammannati …
